Obituary for Blaine N. Love
Blaine N. Love, age 88, of Zanesville, Ohio, formerly of Cadiz, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at The Oaks of Bethesda at Zanesville. He was born September 1, 1926, in South Olive, son of the late Amos and Marjorie Bishop Hughes Love. He was a United States Army veteran, having served during the Korean War, and for which he was awarded The Purple Heart for his service. He retired as sales manager from the Ohio Machinery Company in Cadiz.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee Archer Love; one daughter, Brenda Dell; and his siblings, Eldon, Ronald, and Dwight Love, and Grace Love Parrish.
Blaine was a cherished father to two daughters, Melinda J. Love Goncalves and her husband, Fernando of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Loretta S. Love Crouse and her husband, Michael, of Sykesville, Maryland; and proud grandfather to Bailee and Mitchell Crouse and Alexandra and Fernando Goncalves, Jr. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne Love and sister-in-law June of South Olive, and his very dear sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Loretta (Jody) Archer Swartz and her husband Raymond of Zanesville. He will also be missed by his dear nephews and his many cherished family and friends.
A veteran’s graveside service will be observed Monday, April 20, 2015, at 11AM at Olive Cemetery in Caldwell conducted by the Noble County Veteran’s Service Organizations. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
