Obituary for Beverly Elaine Leasure
Beverly Elaine Leasure, age 65, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at her home. She was born September 18, 1954, in Barnesville, daughter of the late Leonard and Geneva Hayes Leasure. Bev was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening and she was an artist who enjoyed drawing and painting, and she loved taking care of her aquarium. She was also an avid Ohio State University sports fan.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Kim Leasure and Gregory Leasure; and her brother-in-law, Kenny Hoyt.
Surviving are her children, Tracey L. (Lori) Porter of Zanesville, Christopher E. Hooper (Christia Iwanyckyi) and James G. Ruger, all of Caldwell, and Joni Rae Ruger (D. J. Potts) of Woodsfield; her siblings, Melinda Hoyt of Graysville, Gary (Cate) Leasure and Calvin Leasure (Melissa Kay), all of Summerfield, and Robin Leasure of Caldwell; 14 grandchildren, Jesica, Mercedes, Daniel, Kristen, Dalton, Raegan, Dylan, Naudia, Kason, Wesley, Wyatt, Waydon, Devon, and Darynn; three great-grandchildren, Tylee, Thea, and Ember; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Friends may call Friday, May 22, 2020, from 3-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell where the funeral service will be observed Saturday, May 23rd at 11AM with George Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Tabor Ridge Cemetery. For public safety, guests are encouraged to practice social distancing and wear a mask.
