Obituary for Beulah F. Rossiter Anderson
Beulah F. Rossiter Anderson, age 85, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at her home. She was born August 9, 1924, in Ava, daughter of the late Charles H. and Etta E. Lyons Rayner. She was a member of the Caldwell Church of the Nazarene and she had served as president of the Caldwell Women?s Christian Temperance Union. She was a homemaker and she worked for 27 years as a custodian for Farmers and Merchants Bank in Caldwell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Carlos A. Rossiter, who died October 9, 1986; her second husband, George Leonard Anderson, who died July 18, 1993; one son, Rev. Dr. C. Larry Rossiter, who died June 1, 1992; three brothers, Hansome Rayner, Martin Luther ?Boots? Rayner, and James R. Rayner; and two sisters, Hazel McCune and Sarah Hurst. Surviving are two daughters, Linda (Gene) Devoll of Caldwell and Janice D. Rossiter of the home; three sons, James (Gerry) Rossiter, Gary (Patricia) Rossiter and Jerry (Marilyn) Rossiter, all of Caldwell; one daughter-in-law, Mary Rossiter of Cincinnati; one brother, John (Betty) Rayner of Caldwell; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Rayner of Cumberland; special granddaughter and caregiver, Tonda Feldner of Sarahsville; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Thursday, November 12, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral will be observed Friday, November 13th at 1PM with Pastor John Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Halley?s Ridge Cemetery near Ava.
