Obituary for Betty Lou Burch

Betty Lou Burch, age 82, of Cumberland, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. She was born March 6, 1925, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late Rev. James Callihan and Mary Farson Bone. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar A. Burch, who died January 8, 1981; two daughters, Naomi Collins and Louise Ann Burch; four sons, Gregory Allen Burch, Jon Mark Burch, James Thomas Burch, and Dwaine Russell Burch; and two infant granddaughters. Surviving are two daughters, Mary (Robert) Smith of Columbus and Sue (Paul) Heddleson of Cumberland; four sons, William (Nellie) Burch of Cambridge, Stephen (Linda) Burch of Georgetown, Delaware, Charles (Connie) Burch of Dexter City, and Timothy (Sharon) Burch of Cumberland; one daughter-in-law, Patty Rohrbaugh of Caldwell; one son-in-law, Jeff Collins of Cumberland; one brother, James Russell (Doris) Callihan of Reynoldsburg; 34 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, August 10, 2007, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Saturday at 11AM with Pastor Jay Loucks officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 163549, Columbus, Ohio 43216-3549, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Central Ohio Chapter, 6555 Busch Blvd., Worthington, Ohio 43229.
