Betty Lou Baker, age 75, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Monday, March 16, 2015, at her home. She was born July 2, 1939, in Barnesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl and Edna Morris Huntsman. She was a homemaker and a beloved mother. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, working puzzles, and watching birds.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Chandes Baker, who died July 5, 2005; and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her children, Debbie K. (Aaron) Lambert of Dexter City, Brenda L. Ogden of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, William H. (Christy) Baker of Caldwell, Thomas E. Baker of Caldwell. Joyce A. Baker of Caldwell, Kenneth E. (Nanette) Baker of Kanoe, Hawaii, Susan D. Baker of Reidsville, North Carolina, and Tresa M. Davis of Caldwell; her siblings, Janet Rock of Toronto, Ohio, Edna Lucas of Belmont, Joseph “Sonny” Huntsman of Georgia, and Thelma Hicks of Texas; one sister-in-law, Jenny (Tom) LaFollette of Lewisville; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be no visitation or service at this time. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, is caring for the family.
