Obituary for Betty Lee Archer Love
Betty Lee Archer Love, age 79, died Thursday evening, September 23, 2010. Betty died of inflammatory breast cancer at her home in Owings Mills, Maryland, in the company of her loving family. She was born July 31, 1931, in Caldwell, Ohio, daughter of the late Emil and Alta Orr Archer. She was a 1949 graduate of Caldwell High School and resided in Cadiz, Ohio for 32 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Dell Love.
Survivingare her husband of 58 years, Blaine N. Love;two daughters, Melinda (Fernando) Goncalves of Toronto, Canada, and Loretta (Mike) Crouse of Sykesville, Maryland;four grandchildren, Bailee and Mitchell Crouse of Sykesville, Maryland, Alexandra "Shanda" and Fernando "Kiko" Goncalves, Jr. of Toronto, Canada; an honorary daughter, Carla Singhaus Helfrich of New Philadelphia;two honorary grandchildren, Logan and Haley Jacot of New Philadelphia;and one sister, Loretta "Jody" (Ray) Swartz of Coshocton. She was a beloved aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Friends may call Monday, September 27, 2010 from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where a memorial service willfollow at 1PM. Inurment will follow at Olive Cemetery in Caldwell. The family wishes to express special thanks to the caring team at Johns Hopkins Medical Group and Gilchrist Hospice Care.
