Obituary for Betty Jean Davis
Betty Jean Davis, age 67, of Sarahsville, Ohio, died Saturday, January 23, 2010, at her home. She was born December 27, 1942, in Marietta, daughter of the late John and Shelly Greene Blair. She was a homemaker and she was a member of the Sarahsville United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Don Blair. Surviving are her husband, Gerald B. ?Buckeye? Davis, whom she married in June, 1964; her children, Melissa J. (Randy) Leasure of Sarahsville, Melinda R. (Mark) Baker of Cambridge, Marcia V. (Scott) Brown of Sarahsville, and Gerald Burton ?G.B.? Davis, Jr. of Sarahsville; two brothers, Evert Blair of Dexter City and Ervin Blair of Caldwell; a special nephew, L.P. Davis of Sarahsville; and 6 grandchildren, Brandon and Sara Leasure, Dylan and Blair Brown, and Cody and Niki Baker. Friends may call Monday, January 25, 2010, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, January 26th at 1PM with Pastor Kathy Powers officiating. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
