Obituary for Bernard E. "Buddy" Oblisk, Jr.
Bernard E. “Buddy” Oblisk, Jr., age 52, of Stafford, Ohio, died Saturday, October 25, 2014, at his home. He was born March 6, 1962, in Barnesville, son of Bernard E. “Bud” and Mary Lou Hesson Oblisk, Sr. of Stafford. He was a 1980 graduate of Skyview High School, and he was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and root hunting.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, John H. (Rose) Oblisk of Ravenna; two nieces, Valerie (Al) DiVencenzo and Alyssa Oblisk, both of Ravenna; and one great-niece, Danica DiVencenzo of Ravenna.
Friends may call Monday, October 27, 2014, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 1PM with Pastor Gary Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Stafford.
