Obituary for Audrey Allbritain
Audrey Allbritain, age 90, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born August 27, 1924, in Seneca Twp., Noble County, daughter of the late Harley and Maud Graham Bates. She was a graduate of Summerfield High School, and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ and the Young at Heart Club in Caldwell, and she enjoyed selling Avon products.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard R. (Boob) Allbritain, whom she married June 26, 1942, and who died February 20, 1992; two sisters, Lola Hague and Opal Moore; and one brother, Oather Bates.
Surviving are one son, Danny (Marcia) Allbritain of Caldwell; three grandchildren, Alicia D. (Jeremy) Scherf of Kimbolton, Nathan R. Allbritain of Caldwell, and Nolan R. Allbritain of Columbus; two great-grandchildren, Bayleigh Gates and Emmalyn Scherf; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Monday, December 29, 2014, from 5-9PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, December 30th at 1PM. Burial will follow at Bates Hill Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street Church of Christ, 631 Main Street, Caldwell, Ohio, 43724.
