Obituary for Kyle D. Cooper
Kyle D. Cooper, age 57, of Pleasant City, Ohio, died Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 6, 1960, in Richlands, Virginia, son of the late Burton H. and Elsie Arvilla Rife Cooper. He was a 1978 graduate of Shenandoah High School, and he was a United States Air Force veteran. Kyle worked in construction and as a truck driver for most of his life. He was an excellent mechanic who loved working on cars, and he was an Ohio State football fan. He loved the outdoors and living in the country, and he enjoyed waking up early to watch the sunrise with his morning coffee.
He is survived by two children, Megan Nicole Cooper of Columbus and and Shawn Anthony Cooper, serving with the United States Navy in San Diego, California; his siblings, Drema K. (Gale) Elkins of Pleasant City, Barry L. (Deidre) Cooper of North Carolina, Terry K. (Brenda) Cooper of Cambridge, and Burton D. “Randy” (Debbie) Cooper of Poquoson, Virginia; one granddaughter, one-month-old Kaderin Chapman of Columbus; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday, August 10, 2017, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Ken Perkins officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, P.O. Box 263, Caldwell, Ohio, 43724, to assist the family with final expenses.
