Obituary for Joseph D. Glidden
Joseph D. Glidden, age 33, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at his home. He was born October 17, 1984, in Cambridge, son of Robert Lee Glidden, Jr. of Caldwell and Barbara D. Wittenbrook Glidden Freeland of Caldwell. He was formerly employed by Marietta Silos and Colegate Palmolive. Joe enjoyed fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, golfing, and kayaking. He was a devoted and beloved son, father, and brother.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Braxton Daniel Glidden of Caldwell; his siblings, John (Laura) Glidden of Marietta, Robert Thor (Korri) Glidden and Timothy L. Glidden, all of Caldwell, and Herbert D. Glidden of Coal Ridge; his step-father, Lester Freeland of Caldwell; his step-mother, Cynthia A. Glidden of Caldwell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Monday, April 23rd at 11AM with Pastor Robert Sholtis officiating. Burial will follow at Barry’s Ridge Cemetery.
